I tried but I still can't find it
so the story had something like the mother being homophobic and couldn’t accept her son so the son left home and like years later he’s living a good life( hes working at a good company etc) and then he found out that his mom was regretting everything.
When he went to their house, he saw stacks of books about good parenting on the table—titles like “How to Repair a Broken Relationship with Your Child,” “The Power of Apology,” and “Raising Adults with Emotional Intelligence.”
His mother came out from the kitchen, looking nervous but trying hard. She had cooked his favorite dish, the one she used to make perfectly when he was little.
