It oddly reminds me of one of the isekaid villain guys in I reincarnated as a slime. The psychopath guy that is always smiling and have his eyes happy-closed untill he open them to say some sadistic thing. I'm not sure tho

Hi, I’m looking for a manga that I read quite a while ago. I’d appreciate it if someone could tell me it’s name, or left a link :)
I’m pretty sure it was a shonen ai, but could be yaoi, the main character was a high schooler(?) guy who I think had a crush on his close friend.
We/I/the Mc doesn’t know if he likes him back, but there are a lot of moments where the close/best friend does something romantic/misunderstandable and gets the Mc’s hopes up and make his heart skip a beat, but then turns it into a misunderstanding.
I think there was a school festival scene where the best friend and Mc were lifted up and they had to take each other’s head bands.
I dropped it because I felt bad for the Mc, but now I’m wondering if they ever got together.
