Ikr.. the smut in the novel is so good. That’s meant to be the point of the few and between scenes too IMO. Just the fact that in the novel the smut literally lasts pages upon pages with very intricate detail of everything Mr. Liu is doing to him and how it feels. The smut in the adaptation being snipped shorter makes it feel like there’s barely any smut and what there is is abysmal —when in fact the smut scenes in the novel are so long and blazing and dirty that it quenches a readers thirst until the next time they do it. ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
That's what I'm talking about. During the reading of some chapters I felt like I'm interrupting them by being there reading hahahaha. It's so detailed and well written, giving us insight in every single physical and emotional detail.
