The author genuinely wrote both characters horribly and made them so dependant on each other it also extremely insecure. And these to factors make this mess of a relationship
I don't think it's written horribly but rather, the characters are extremely flawed and Yun ho specifically is super young and tries to pretend to be a mature adult. Fingers crossed S3 will show some real character growth on both sides.

i’m at chap 46 but holy shit i’m just so annoyed at how the author writes yun-oh character it’s actually so shit wtf like bro you’ve liked haewon for so long and now you’re finally together and he proves to you how much he likes you and he still acts like that. i genuinely don’t know how haewon can take it. there’s literally no communications anywhere. the story at the start was good but now it’s bad to the point i get irritated while reading
