I think it's unresolved because Kay isn't part of the plotting so it's still happening but in the background ? And Zigril was holding their child this chapter so he definitely didn't disappear.

Why do I feel like I skipped some chapters?
I thought I was reading everything in order, but it feels like I lost reading comprehension or something, because apparently the betrayal plot and the child just disappeared.
Or was it left unresolved and now we’re getting new drama with that new guy?
