I think Cheol doesn't want to bottom because he can't accept himself as a gay man. Miyoung outing him to his father traumatized him and I think he believes it's manlier to be the top than the bottom. He thinks if he bottoms there's no going back and he can't pretend to be a good son anymore. That's why I'm hopeful the author will let us see Cheol bottom. I think once he accepts himself and Miyoung, he will bottom.

Cheol is a very interesting character. I think his trauma is part of the reason why he is so violent around Minyoung now. But, not accepting your nature can leave you with very sour feelings. I hope Cheol can become happier ╥﹏╥ I am also worried whether Minyoung is the type of person he can have a happy ending with in general.

I think Minyoung's reason for outing Cheol to his father is going to make a big difference on whether they can eventually form a healthy relationship. We see that the two of them were planning to live together during university but then the flashbacks skip to Minyoung outing Cheol. If Minyoung did it to be spiteful or isolate Cheol then I think it's going to be very hard to overcome. But then again, given how Minyoung has a unique way of thinking, it could have been a misguided attempt to force Cheol to stand up to his father.
