It's petrifying.
MC has been bullied by his colleagues in military academy and when he went to the authorities for help what he received was even more abuse and worse of all rape.
THE AUTHOR IS BLATANTLY ROMANTICISING RAPE!!
If that couldn't be enough (the worst) MC started to believe ML is loving him, like he is expressing his love by beating him, starving, breaking his bones, forcing himself on uke and treating him like a lesser, a literal toy.
From my perspective it's Stockholm Syndrome...! MC doesn't love ML and the fact there is no redemption, no revenge or justice of any kind is disappointing and disgusting.
And the supposed amnesia? Excuse me but why so many authors prefer to write amnesiac rapist than allowing the victim revenge?
