so like i had the same question while watching a kdrama once apparently their drinking culture is unique soju the common alcohol drink is lower in alcohol percentage and koreans genetics carry a special enzyme that helps them break down alcohol also if you see they usually eat fast frid oily food while drinking like fried chicken or stuff which slows down the rate at which alcohol gets absorbed and they had really well hangiver remedies which are a good aftercare so yeah , they still get liver problems tho..

Why do they drink so much?!?!?
Korean people (especially college students and workers) drink soooo much. How do they not die of liver failure at like 50?
Also wish I could find love like mc (drinking into oblivion and making it obvious)
