Theres no point in arguing with TJ stans, its very obvious that TJ was the default option because Ian doesn't believe he deserves better. TJ stans think this is true love but all it is is abuse, toxicity and codependency disguised as love.
TJ stans are not ready for thar conversation and this is coming from someone who loved Jo but I was also okay if Ian didnt end up with him as long as he didnt end up with that rat. Unfortunately the story disappointed me.
And using a love triangle as a plot device to push the couple an established dynamic is lazy writing. I dont get how people think Doyak is an amazing writer after this. Its mediocre a jealousu arc sure. But if you have to use another character to make your couple work. Thats pathetic
