omfg. the FL sucks too bc all she does is *think* of these witty comebacks/insults while smiling and doing exactly what the ML/her family wants. oh and she’s good at cooking too? it’s giving classic patriarchal ideals about a “womans role” in the household. it’s like that other manhua/man where a call center employee or somethin gets summoned and lowkey forced into marriage w a verbally abusive emperor.. and she just *strokes his ego* it’s so fucking annoying. the ML gets off spiking his partners cortisol levels probably shorting her already FRAIL LIFE. the FL is gonna be put in ACTUAL harms way before the ML realizes like “oh shit maybe this isn’t a good way to express my feelings, i should protect and support her.” that’s IF the ML ever changes his behavior. such a waste of my time (︶︿︶)＝凸
