dont let the patriarchy delude u into thinking that marrying a rich man is good tingz, only when u dont care abt ur self respect and are ok w whatever and js wanna get into "old money" is when u shld marry rich and then also its not guaranteed that ur heir will get the legacy. it takes diff amt of scheming to get into old money by marrying(since marrying into old money is the only way to get old money-rich, in 1 generation, dont let anyone tell u any other way, its all lies) so if u dont want a baby(and want ur heir to get into old money), and are not someone who is ok w being a shadow of a man, then go marry rich. otherwise, study and independent is only option.
