I wonder if it would work that way only because when Perez laid it out for him he basically let him know Lombardi would wipe him from their books as a noble. Also, Bellesac is the child of Lombardi & Angenas (though of course the son follows the father), however, everyone knew how much his father & himself really was under the thumb of the Angenas. Really, what I’m saying is that I think they would have a hard time trying to use him to lower the Lombardi reputation. But at the same time you might be right because the Queen is everything when it comes to an opportunity & she desperate so maybe I’m just typing all this to say your correct & that could have been a huge plan if it was successful, lol. Sorry sometimes I have to type it out to hear it I guess. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
No I totally get what you mean. Honestly, even if Ballsack was framed and they tried to pull something like that to ruin the lombardi’s reputation, Tia would definitely have a countermeasure. It would just be more of a hassle I’m guessing lol XD
But I would definitely see the queen trying to make some shit up to use this opportunity. Like idk, maybe say they made ballsack do it by taking his father hostage(since they made him stay in the annex) or something, so it brings bad light onto Lombardi. Like, it doesn’t have to be true or proven, but just some few whispers in high society would taint the name of Lombardi.
But yeah, if I was the queen, I would definitely also latch onto this opportunity to save my child as well as ruin the Lombardi name.

It’s so in-character for Tia to save him, rather she cares for him or not, because at the end of the day he is still a Lombardi! I bet she was thinking “I’ll be damned if a Angenas kills a Lombardi & gets away with it! Especially not while I just became head of Lombardi”. Nothing to do with Bellesac himself, but just the principle of it all. Lol that’s Tia for you!
