So as you know the MC is a beta. Of course there’s discrimination with couples that aren’t perceived as normal (omega x alpha / beta x beta). Iirc the alphas father would basically fuck betas in front of his son for whatever reason (idrm) but it gave the alpha a kinda hatred for alpha x beta couples. So the mc does like the beta but it’s just that whole experience tripping him up. He’s loyal and everything. They break their relationship off because the alpha believes he slept with another omega in heat and he feels disgusted with himself because it’s not the mc even tho we know it is. The MC will run away knowing he’s pregnant and the alpha doesn’t know that but he’s gonna chase him. I can give more spoilers if you want to.

IIRC the grandfather is really the main villain. There’s also other people that are at fault that the mc knew. The mc ends up moving to an apartment by himself bc he plans to give birth in secret and raise the child. I forgot how the mc finds him but he moves in Nextdoor because he misses him and doesn’t want to lose him. It’s been a long time since I’ve read but I’m pretty sure the mc is gonna get attacked/taken maybe it has soenrhinf to do with his pheromones and that’s where the ml comes in to save the day and he finds out that the mc is an omega and pregnant with his baby. I’m pretty sure there’s conflict until basically the end. Now between the two characters, but with everyone else around them. They get a happy ending tho. I wish I could give more details because I know I’m missing some key stuff but I haven’t read in awhile :(
