If it makes u feel better a lot of comments i saw where mostly positive and empathetic and i feel that way too and it hurts me to see him hurt i jist wish he would speak up

can we bring back empathy please . every chapter when i read this story is just constantly people bemoaning about how frustrating and stupid mc is. like he is literally an average guy who reincarnated into a romance novel as a character who died and is desperately trying to survive. and on top of that, he got ripped away from his sister and is living a life where he has forgotten who he is. “but he was mean to his brother that one time!” as if yall literally would be any better. he lives in a fictional world, he doesn’t view that guy as HIS brother. his relationship to the ml is the only relationship he made for himself (well the novel mc too, but less so) in his new life.
and last but not least, HE IS LITERALLY DEPRESSED AND SUICIDAL. idk, i mean atp i think it’s very clear that a lot of his problems come from the fact that his mental state holds him back, but the story is building towards him healing, so i think patience with him will really help you guys enjoy this story for what it is. im not trying to shepherd or change your opinions, what you think is what you feel. BUT, i think seeing him more nuanced and trying to understand why he feels or does these things will make you appreciate him more
