Ppl hate him for not being a pillar of hope to OG mc!! Jus imagine why would you even end ur life knowing someone you love also cares about you!??? But the ml never took any kind of action to actually help the mc or end his bullyingm it was only after he was gone he found himself guilty of it and the time when the og mc went to his house and he wanted to somehow want to protect him was totally bs like where were u all these time?? So it's a given that even the mc did drive him to his death even though his part isn't as big as Jaemin's
He wasn’t the only person who knew about the bullying though so I don’t think it’s fair to even suggest that if he had intervened things would’ve been different.
