i’ve read too many isekais….

only read up to like ch 50

the set up for this comic really reminds me of an isekai where the villainess is actually just misunderstood.

yes 13 lives of evil and wrongdoing but after meeting her father, it’s obvious she was brainwashed to the point where the saintess position was rightfully hers and any other stronger candidates were thieves. her father and other adults around her quite literally drilled into her the fact that even if there was another saint, that there wasn’t because only she could become the next saint. she has definitely done evil things to the mc but the author has not yet fully convinced me that this villainess is terrible down to the bone without outside influences.

there’s even the trope of her being devoted somewhat to her fiancé the crown prince only for him to abandon her for the mc . i always wondered abt the stories that vaillainess isekais wee based off of and reading this im finally witnessing it.

dont get me wrong i dont love the villainess down but at this point in the series she just seems like a victim of her circumstances and it’s making it really difficult for me to get behind the whole thirst for revenge. also, why did it take mc 13 lives to realize the temple and the villainess are in fact villains. maybe after the second or third life id understand her continued devotion, but 13 whole lives???? and she still put trust and faith in the people around her like please

No worry for Ravienne she was brainwashed if you want but she is a total villainess of her own and villainess is almost too kind
