I think both of them are valid, but I'd like to point out: while yes, Jaehyuk has grown a lot, he also still hasn't shown himself a safe person to be with. And his behaviour being so ready to be out and cut everyone and everything off is concerning.

Also, do we honestly think at this point they could just talk it out if Garam hadn't run away? Getting a whole new place to live was excessive and that note instead of directly telling Jaehyuk was rough, but removing yourself from a situation so you can think about it with a clear head once the anger and intense feelings cool down genuinely can be a lifesaver. It's so hard to see things clearly when you literally do not have space to think for yourself and the other person seems to be trying to argue you into a corner, throwing things in the trash and deciding what your feelings and motivations are without even questioning if it's true. It's HARD to communicate well when emotions are running so high, often close to impossible. Taking a step back for a while doesn't necessarily mean you love the person less, in fact it can give you space to understand them more and help you work together.

It also really doesn't sit well with me how Jaehyuk says he's doing things for Garam's sake when he never asked Garam if he wanted those things or had a proper discussion about them. And on some level he's aware they're sacrifices, but the thing is he chose to make them and now he's using them against Garam.

Saying this mainly because I see so many people hating Garam's guts, but this is a two-way street. They both need to pause and ask themselves (and each other) "wait, why is the person I love acting this way?" with genuine curiousity and not judge when they get answers.
