Yeah I get it… as someone who is queer myself. However at a certain point we have to understand, that it's your partner's life, and what they choose to do with it, is their choice. I would understand Garam more if he didn't want to come out to his friends or in general, but that isn't the case, his case is, he doesn't want Jaehyuk to come out— which is totally different. I think Jaehyuk would understand if Garam said, "I don't, but you can." But Garam is saying, "I can. YOU can't." If Garam would've went with the first choice Jaehyuk would still come out, but would've made efforts with Garam to keep Garam anonymous to social media and just come out with family and friends. This is because many hetero relationships do so anyway, and it's normal and fine (Like not being comfie meeting friends or family until later in the relationship–regardless of knowing said people.) At the end of the day, Jaehyuk is an adult, regardless of his social standing in the past, it is his choice what he does in the present— as a partner Garam's job is to make sure Jaehyuk is 100% sure to go through with coming out and then stand by Jaehyuk's choice to the end not running away at the most important time when the damage had already been done.

No. garam literally doesn't want to come out. it's not "i can, you can't" situation. also there's no such thing as anonymity when you are a rich, popular guy, the popularity Garam didn't invite, didn't know but has to bear the burden of. Jh doesn't want just him to come out, he wants Garam to come out as well. That's why the attempt in front of his friends and the ultimatum.

Jaehyuk does want to come out together but to his own friends and family. Garam isn't friends with his friends. He never mentioned he wanted to out his relationship to public but wanted to just come out in general. Also weren't those two guys Jaehyuk's friends and not Garam's? I coulda sworn? And yes there is anonymity Jaehyuk has had relationships with lots women and hardly anyone knows who they are. Also nowhere in here did Garam ever mention he didn't want to come out it's always been Jaehyuk Jaehyuk Jaehyuk. Garam didn't even want to introduce him to his gay friends. I see your point but Jh literally was like "yeah garam and I live together and my partner is Garam" that was when Garam stopped him. He did not go "I'm gay" and if he had, it woulda been found out through inference. Jh said he lived with his girlfriend and now he comes out as gay and the guys also found out Garam lives with him.

about the anonymity thing, Jh is literally a celebrity now, albeit a bit grounded but still a celebrity. That's why the ex threatened to out him and I believe you once one person who's not queer finds out, there's a high chance of the news spreading like wildfire. Been there, experienced that. Preciously, he was still known as a f-boy but now, he is famous with good fan following.

Love discussing manhwa plots. I keep seeing Jinx fans over analyzing the panels or some details and I was like even the artist prolly didn't mean that and didn't do it deliberately, why do you do this. But now I kinda do get it. Although I still think they take it to the extreme, I kinda love these discussion though.

No fs, that’s why both of them are annoying me. I just get annoyed when Garam is going, "this is for your sake, blah blah blah." Like, I get it if you don't want to be outed yourself, but don't leave someone who likes you and is willing to do things like this for you for "their" sake. Be real with yourself and realize that he's an adult. And then Jaehyuk! Guhh he frustrated me. Tbh, I am more of a Jaehyuk person, if they ask I ain't gonna deny, but when he was just gonna out their relationship to those men in public, my heart dropped. Never without my partner consultation!

Back to Garam tho. If some girl I was talking to pulled the same shit with me, I would be just as pissed as Jaehyuk, but I also understand Garam because, well, I went through what some would deem as the worst case scenario—I was outed to my baby boomer Catholic Latino parents. If they weren't obsessed with saving face, I would be booted from the house. That's why I can understand Garam, but on the flip side, Jaehyuk is an adult and so is Garam; this coulda been handled by talking with Jaehyuk: "hey, you wanna come out to friends and family, fine, but I don't want to be outed at all without you consulting me first." And if that didn't work, Garam, leave him.

But yeah, I love discussing these plots, as long as the person understands what's going on . I don't know why, but some people get heated hard for these things and forget, "Hey, um, they aren't real people, loll." Discussions are fine, and it's okay to get passionate, I feel, as long as you catch yourself and apologize for your tone after.
