Please the handholding at the end it gives me sm mixed feeling why are you entwining your hand Aoki-san ? And why didn't you go with the initial handholding Sumino-san !? And that speech felt like regret idk I might be delusional because that ending threw me too much off guard.
I kinda hate but love it ? This was like traveling down memory lane and recalling my most awkward moments. Their relationship felt like meeting at the wrong time at least on Sumino's side. I would love to see Aoki's POV in possible side stories. (if it ever happens, I don't thinking it will but let's hope). Or idk an alternate universe where they do end with each other. Didn't he ever felt anything for our boy ? Idk I just feel bad for Sumino, damn. ( I do love me a good dose of realism sometimes but my romantic heart is painfully aching)
At the end of the day, sumino never truly had the relationship he always wanted, and that's life, I get it not everyone can get what they want and this ending I leaving me severely morose about life. (I came in here to feel happy and laugh, not to get slapped full force by realism.)
