Definitely no romance. But he does have a platonic soulmate in Frost Queen! She's basically his ride or die, but purely friendship with possible mentions of her objective beauty? (Vague recollections, can't remember if others said so or he was thinking so). But no, no romantic side plots for him. Though Skaya on the other hand~~

Yeah!! I thought they'd show like, yk in anime they show a time skip and who ends up w whom at the end, even though there's no romance in the actual storyline.
