It feels weird reading this after watching Hamnet lol

They don't have any similarity aside from revolving around a specific play, but the ending really reminded me of Hamnet so much---like a polar opposite version of it.

All that being said, I'm glad I found this again and got to finish it. It's a solid 9/10. Wish it was longer, wish it had more smut. I genuinely appreciate a character who's had a terrible childhood but managed to grow up into a decent and independent human being. A lot of other dark BL mangas/manhwas love to use upbringing as an easy justification for manipulative and downright rotten behavior so this is truly a breath of fresh air. The chemistry is on point, and the overall pacing is actually really good especially for a straight/one-sitting read.

What you said abt Andrew I think Is so true. I notice how so many manwhas use traumatic upbringings as an excuse for everything they do and I hate it because it causes such a stigma that 1. That’s acceptable behavior and 2. That everyone who grew up with trauma will end up like this. I loved how Andrew was still just a normal guy regardless of what happened to him
