bro i'm in the middle of reading ts and couldn't take it anymore bc they ARE NOTTTT addressing the damn elephant in the room yet they r somehow dating LOL had to check the comments if it'll ever happen and stumbled across yours,,, communication and accountability only happening on volume 2 is insane sanada is such a bs character and itonaga's self worth makes me wanna die bc wdym u are willing to date someone who made ur hs days HELL and even think of him positively... ig itonaga being like that might also be a result of the bullying itself but damn
Same, the story has an interesting theme, but I don't like sanada
Ok my thing is, it took him until vol 2 to properly apologise and cut off the people who were influenced by his actions and popularity to bully an innocent kid. I couldn’t really get into it until Sanada actually apologised and distanced himself from his ex-friends, but even that didn’t sit right with me because Ito had to ask his own boyfriend to cut them off. That made it hard for me to fully connect with the couple. Also, finding out it wasn’t even really the MC’s fault that he had water poured on him just made everything worse. Sanada ain’t shit. I can understand internalised homophobia in a middle schooler, but a lot of his actions in the present still don’t sit right with me.
