I liked this AU too; I think it shows that the author can write and draw dark stuff, and if you've browsed her Twitter a bit, you'll see that she used to like drawing monster characters, so it's nice to see some of that in this short story form.
I love these mixed reviews so much! I personally enjoyed the AU even if it got a bit morbid. It shows the wide range of talent that this artist has and they showcase them perfectly, its body horror that makes you regret seeing it but you also can’t look away bc its crazy how accurate and proportional they make their oc’s in the body horror, also that it can flip from horror to cute and cuddly or lovey dovey in characters is what makes me even more excited for the main storyline completion.
