I think he was saving someone from drowning , but he died instead . When he live again, he was given this japanese candy ? In a small glass bottle , where he needs to take it everytime he's abt to dissappear/die again . I think it was like , he cant get heartbroken , or else he will vanish and need to take one candy to keep from vanishing . The one who give him the 2nd chance to live was the ML's mother's spirit or smth like that , and she was helping MC so he can confess (?) or make up with her son , the ML .
