How angst is this? I don’t mind some spoilers.

1. What is the main conflict?
2. Love triangle or third party rival, cheating, rape? Which?
3. How much jealousy arc? I hate jealousy arc unless ML or MC deserved it

i think this story is mostly angst as :

    1. it is a story about moving on from one's ''love'' to something else and a new love. and how to form a relationship with a considerable (but not crazy) age-gap between 2 adults (the evolution of hs-prof-/old-student dynamic to 2 adults interact anew)

    2. no cheating. no grape either. but there are drunk sex scenes, it's a recurrent plot point and it is adressed. the ML is still in love with his college friend but (as much as he denies it) the MC falls in love quite fast (he just doesn't associate it with love as it's quite different from his late idea of love, which is born from duty and care).

    3. MC is peak jaelous. it's not an arc, it's almost the entire story. but it's not unbearable as he likes the guy, he's obsessed about him but not a full-blown crazy mf. he doesn't want to isolate him or anything like that, but he suffers a lot from his own jealousy and acts/talk like a little shit, that is to state. but well, they actually are two nutcases so their dynamic works. i liked watching them fall in love, it didn't feel forced, it felt real and substantial.

i just re-read the whole thing so it's fresh in my mind, ask away if you want precisions :)

oh and i forgot (i can't edit it?) but :

    2. there is a part of the story where the ML gets drunk and sleep with other men but THEY ARE NOT YET TOGETHER. it's meant to show how dysfonctional he is.

and when i said MC ''denies'' his love, it's actually not quite the case, he just doesn't outright question it. but when he bexomes aware of his feelings, the shift is more than noticeable through his expression and his change in manner of speech :)

    Wait, thank you so much!

    1. Who is ML and MC? Yuri is MC and Sunwoo ML? Usually I think bottoms are mostly MC’s so I’m wondering.

    2. I don’t mind if they sleep with another (like you said, it’s plot reason/shows dysfunctional he is), but how reoccurring is that. What chapter? And I’m glad it’s addressed. Besides that, it bothers me so much when authors gloss over dysfunctional behaviors or minimize it. Honestly the ‘no grape’ scenes make this amazing already.

    3. Have you read Lost in the Cloud? Is it back and forth drama like that or more in depth and not dragged on as much?

No pressure but I’ll trust your words lolol and give it a read soon.
I might ask questions here as I read. Feel free to answer, whoever.

Sorry Im not the previous commenter, but I would like to reply

    1. Seonwoo is the one who likes to get drunk and sleep around, though unconsciously.

    2. the sleeping around part is only happened once, but none after both of their feelings deepened I personally doesn't take offense because Yuri and Seonwoo not yet become a thing at that time. But after that , Seonwoo habits of sleeping around is addressed again for a few times and Yuri really hate it after he knows about it.

    3. Lost in The Cloud I think it's more psychological, the drama is about family, blackmailing, feeling betrayed, things like that. I personally enjoyed it, but it is a bit heavy for me so I've not yet re-read it again. But in comparison to Form of Sympathy, it's easier to re-read Form of Sympathy, maybe because the author treat us to sickeningly sweet side stories after all this heavy shit.

    1. yes. we actually dwelve into both of their lives but mostly through what yuri is told/sees, so since we clearly follow his pov at the start, i'd say he's the MC. btw, to react to what you said i die for the tops MCs and it's so rareeee

    2. honestly, we don't know much bcz we follow yuri but we ''see'' only 2 faceless guys (the first one appears at chapter 22 and tries to carry the ML in a hotel room but yuri stops him and carry ML's drunk ass out of this situation ; second appears at chapter 32-33 doing the deed but sex does not get much graphic, we mostly see only what he says).

2.5 now, for warnings : there is no rape but i'd still like to warn you that at first, yuri's NOT tender, yuri also dismisses mr. lee's comfort (i think ''sexual harassment'' is strong for chapter 32 but it is what it is : he undresses him slightly and tries to get on his nerves by touching his chest on their place of work). at first, it's to get reactions, which is super fucked up but clearly not romanticised. i'll add that earlier sex scenes are kinda dubious and under the influence of alcohol for mr. lee (but he's kinda always drowning himself in alcohol and looking around for one night stands for stress relief through sex, so i'd say it's kind of a gray area). and yuri clearly dislikes doing it under the influence of alcohol, if it matters to you.

    3. so i'm now reading it to answer you lolol ! it was on my i-want-to-read so thanks for the push and tears i guess

i'd say it's more tame than Lost in the Cloud, because it involves adults and they can act upon it. still, this manhwa is similar in how it focuses on how depression and trauma affect people with good hearts and very messed up coping mechanism, starting to open up to each other little by little. however, the difference is that most of the drama here is linked with the teacher's carreer (i FELT that). the only real drama as in them working it out to become a somewhat functional couple is ALL in the ''side-stories''.

    so i wholeheartly agree with @ManlyBottom :)
