Do I read the IF YOU CAN universe series by release date?
Is Roses and Champagne part of it? Probably not? I do know Kiss me Liar is one, Desire me if you can, etc..
Help!
Oh yeah I heard they were bad parents how come?
I have questions, spoilers possibly mentioned.
For Ashley and Koi story, what’s the reason Ashley waited at a station or something for ten years? For Koi? Why?
And did Dane SA chase? I know he did to Grayson but someone said he SA’ed Chase Dane you shitt. Why did he?
Anyone else can reply to this; doesn’t have to be detailed response. And thank you!
Koi wasn't necessarily a bad parent, Ashley lowkey was though. Basically since sll the children were dominant alphas they had an aversion to anyone but their mate— thus the children, especially Grayson's evil ass were all pretty cruel to Koi, with Grayson even playing a cruel prank on Koi once that almost resulted in him getting hurt. Because of that Ashley grew reallyyy protective of Koi and didn't allow them much contact.
I read spoilers for the grandparents and Jezus….Chase is really the only ‘normal’ Miller. I think chase is my favorite. I don’t think I’ll ever accept the concept of aversion to anyone except mate. Isn’t that his dad? And I think Koi being too nice played a role in the lack of consequences but I wouldn’t know since I didn’t read the novel. Ashley chose a misguided path.
I will try to understand. At first I thought it’s kind of refreshing and nice that the dom alphas are the more disadvantageous group, but I see it affects everyone including the dom omega/omega in general partners…ugh. How will Grayson, the guy who said it’s fine to fuck brother if no choice/dog, be when he and Dane have kids? Good lord.
Thank you for the response by the way! I am currently reading Kiss me if You Can. I think Josh and Chase’s dynamic is my favorite so far. I love Dane but I feel bad he will get Grayson lol. I heard he puts Grayson in his place, and I love the thought of that. I’m just worried about Grayson’s perspectives on some things. I hope he gets rid of that toxic mentality, even a little.
I don’t mind any spoilers.
you see , i haven't completed novel yet but yeah i heard koi was not a bad parent just ash , and thats cz hes a dominant alpha and wanted his children to look like koi AND be omegas , which they didn't, so he didn't really bond with his kids . Plus as the other user said , all the kids were alphas so he grew protective of koi .
I think the biggest reason would be ashley's own childhood...his dad was fucked up lmao so i kinda feel bad for him as well.
Whatever you say abt them being bad parents , their teenage dynamic was so adorable and ash was really good to koi , so i do recommend.
I feel sad that Nain technically betrayed Amon by going behind back and sleeping with Gwen? But I might understand more if why that happened. Besides that, I feel most bitter that Nain apparently once loved Amon freely (without feeling scared?) or did someone lie to me?
The thought of someone who once loved you this much is now afraid of you and finds happiness in someone else is bittersweet.
Please give me full lore of those parts. Is what someone told me true?
Or was Nain always a victim?
And don’t get me wrong I’m glad Gwen is there. I just wished it became a throuple in a better way lol.
Nain loved amon, but amon didnt (or tried to) understand nain or his humaness or what he wants thru human eyes and continues to interpret what nain wants and needs thru his dragon/ godly lens, hence nain have grown afraid, detached, dosnt love amon anymore.
Dang so Nain did love him at first, 500 or something years ago and due to lack of human love/understanding + memory being erased(?), Nain doesn’t love him anymore? Even till the end?
I’d rather they not be together if that’s how it’ll be. But I heard Nain does love Amon, not the same kind of love as Amon but enough to feel affection? Bur with Gwen, it’s the 100% love he has been wanting and deserves. Both humans can understand each other.
Its complicated. You are right that nain does feel some affection to amon, but its a complex mixture of love, respect, contempt, etc. esp since he isnt aware of the full extent of what amon and the followers have done to him (memory loss). Even he is comflicted. Its the confusion of he should love amon, but deep down there is something wrong that nain despises. For gwen, im not sure how deep that affection is, but its like nain finally meeting someone who understands or can understand him. Like a respite/ breath of fresh air against the suffocating followers and the indomitable god beside him.
Amon doesn’t understand humanity which Gwen does. And usually having things in common is where love is most at, which is probably why Nain couldn’t resist Gwen. It was a human love, not a human and literal deity/god, insane power dynamic issues. I can understand this. I just didn’t like how Nain and Gwen got together but hey it’s not sunshine rainbows
Thanks so much for the response
