I really enjoyed most of this, but as an aroace person, I really need people to start differentiating types of attraction/emotion already. It's perfectly fine to want sexual compatibility in a relationship but assuming someone can't possibly love you because they won't get hard is stupid af. Same way assuming everyone that can get a boner with you is in love with you would be stupid. Stop equating sexual desire to affection/love and vice versa. Your ex literally had sex with you but obviously didn't love you so where tf is the logic in making that the standard for the next partner?? I've seen this bs in sooo many manga, especially with queer relationships as a weird, lazy way to prove they are in fact 'gay'. Not to mention ED is actually pretty damn common. So many reasons why someone wouldn't get hard that are completely unrelated to them being in love with you, case in point being watched by pets.
