Ironically the least weasel thing might be a very small plot hole.
As while the least weasel is endangered in Korea, its technically very common world wide. To the point where another name for the least weasel, is the common weasel.
(The korean common weasel in this webcomic, would be called the Siberian Weasel in english)
So there little to no point in kidnapping a least weasel for its rarity, and if you did it would make way more sense to kidnap a european or siberian least weasel.
Now technically the korean least weasel is its own subspecies according to google. But A. The article, that Google states says that its own subspecies, actually says its inconclusive;but also B. He doesn't match either of the know discription of the least weasel varoents in korea.
MC is a "vulgaris" type that fully molts. Meaning he has brown front paws and turns white in winter.
Korea has observed only vulgaris that don't molt and nivalis types (white paws) that do.
Meaning Mc is very likely to be a northern european varients of vulgaris subspecies (the subspecies that the "vulgaris" type gets its name from)
Though I'm actually like 100% sure the artist used the British least weasel as a reference as the mc looks near identical to the weasel on Wikipedia, but the British least weasel doesn't molt, so the north central european least weasel is the next closest.
