I appreciate the fact that the decision wasn't made out to be due to her superior virtue but her weakness. That's more realistic and true.
That's true. That's why I dunno what to feel because I don't vibe with it because of her experience but it is something that she feels she needs to do as a person going forward.
I get it. I don't vibe with it either but I'm so sick of authors painting weakness and self hatred as virtuous that acknowledging the fact this quasi-forgiveness comes from weakness and not love and real humility is a breath of fresh air.
