Confused asf

I'm having a hard time understanding like where somyungs story and somins backstory transition... was it when season two ended or what

The transition started on chapter 40 after the classmates asked somyung to eat with her then it transitioned to her moms back story which is hard to catch when exactly it started but I’m sure that’s what the author wanted. You can actually catch when it transitioned when after the classmates ask her to eat with them, there’s a panel of supposedly somyung who is actually her mom in the past in a different uniform walking outside smelling cigarettes and that’s when the back story starts. Somyung has a uniform with a white short sleeve with a plaid collar which I believe is her middle school uniform while her mom had a dark blue sweater. I’m sure the reason why the reason there was a flash back at that moment is because it was high school when her met sol and somyung having the same high school uniform must have gave her memories which is why there’s flash backs here and there in the story line and to mislead the reader into thinking it’s somyung experiencing it all. Hopefully that makes sense

Also, between transitions, there's this split in the panels... Like three narrow panels and boom, scene. I think that helped me a lot in differentiating between somin and somyung.
