It's worth it, also you gotta remember that all the past timeline stuff is literally like a yesterday for her, she remembers all the atrocities she's done, people she's killed so the self loathing is justified.
She won't stop the self hate completely and there are some moments where it's intense, but she does improve with chapters and comes to accept and love herself
