No I actually wanted mc#1 with the gangster to be together too. It would make the story so much more interesting and instead of introducing a new character every new chapter there would be more consistency

Particularly MC #1; he actually has sex with the gangster, and I found their interactions more interesting than MC's with his ML. MC #2 was defensive against the dark-haired gangster, which could've offered a more interesting dynamic (especially since the couples are pretty sweet with no edge). Plus the third gangster was so easygoing, I could've seen him get along with MC #3.
