Ya, I’d suggest leaving it until it’s completed. I have a hunch his mother won’t be paying any dues until the very end. Even then, with the way it’s going I think the author might try to give her a redemption arc of sorts.

Holy shit I left to marinate this for a year and they’re literally gone nowhere. They’re just going in circles. The mother is not dead? ML and MC are still in a situationship?? The plot line is just adding the same political drama was just different people again and again.
