I’m looking for a historical martial arts manwha where the MC has black hair and looked down upon because he hides how strong he is. It’s a bit of a cleche trope and the only thing that sets it aside is that the black haired MC has his poofy hair covering his gold eyes.
Only other thing I remember is he wears a lot of black and has a friends that’s actually a dude instead of a girl unlike others manwhas.
If I remember correctly he was in the middle of joining a school/sect?

It’s kind of like Magic ‘Academy’s Genius Blinker‘ as the mc is reincarnated as an npc and is trying to change the story. The setting is he enrolled in an academy that is meant to train their students to fight monster like people. The MC uses a gun that at first everyone looks down in because it’s seen as useless but as the story continues their opinion changes. MC is then contacted by a criminal organization for recruitment.
The last chapter I read he is in a bad state of mind as he had to kill his friends comatose brother to prevent him from turning into a monster and hurting a lot of people like in the story, and vanished without saying a work to his friends.
I can’t remember the name of it and now with the reading list wipe I’m trying to find it again.

It’s a very interesting story and I will keep reading, but even though they make it feel like there is a sense of urgency there isn’t really a consequence as it’s literally just a game.
