yes!!! pick a tone and stick with it. don't just brush over big things.
it's also kind of a skill issue to handle that switch back and forth. ouroboros had a lot of changes of mood, but they reflected the protagonist's mental state and the story was more introspective and treated the topic of rape and how it impacts a person seriously to begin with.
I don’t know how to feel about this because it’s like there’s always such a switch up with heavy topics and subjects turning super light hearted and it’s like pick one especially since in the last chapter he literally raped him and it was treated like nothing!
