this was a rather painful read, as a usual fan of the dead dove genre. there isn't much satisfying payoff for MC remembering the past at all, and ML's motivation for his obsession isn't fleshed out in a way that is all that compelling. the side couple is also barely given any screentime in the main story - they feel like two NPCs conveniently thrown together just for the sake of having a "side couple". The plot point of ML "messing up" a job is also not explained, and altogether the plot gets very hazy and messy. there are better dead dove manhwas out there. stick to those.
i get it so bad on the side couple, it was so out of nowhere that i wanted to check if maybe that couple was from a prequel story by the author but theyre not (afaik) and the main characters randomly being nice to them at the end

right?? it was sad because the author clearly cares about them in the author's notes but they aren't well-introduced in the main story at all...first time i actually couldn't be bothered to read the side stories
