I genuinely thought the seme was being forced by the uke in the high school , but as the story goes , I realized just how deeply obsessed he was with a teenage relationship he couldn't let go of for NINE FUCKING YEARS.

Like yes, the uke was wrong for playing with the seme's feelings back in high school, but does that justify what the seme put him through? The he didn't deserve any of that. And I HATE stories where the victim ends up with their abuser, as if years of trauma and suffering can suddenly be justified just because there's a history between them and now they are in LOVE, ewwww . It's not love but a disturbing obsession and that's the thing about obsession that you become so attached to the version of someone that exists in your head that you stop seeing the actual person in front of you. Their feelings, their fear, their suffering none of it matters anymore because your need for them becomes more important than their right to be free

I didn't cry reading it bcz it's made me disgust more then sad and somehow it left me feeling worse. It's disturbing to watch someone become so consumed by their past that they completely lose sight of another person's humanity. I've seen people writing that they've reread this four or five times, but honestly, fir me NEVER AGAIN. Some stories break your heart, and some leave you feeling sick long after you've finished them.
