He feels like he was only loved/cared because his beloved only see him as a child to protect or someone to protect and tei still can’t understand what he feels for shuraka and besides if the two just sits and spill everything now it’s just going to go more misunderstanding because tei still don’t know what he feels and this is where shuraka would be more insecure because tei would be silent if shuraka would confront him about his feelings because tei thinks shuraka feelings for him is gratitude or attachment because tei stayed so in other words instead of tei telling what he feels he would just say “what you feel is just gratitude” or he would lie about something
