but to answer your question, by the end of the main story of the novel they DON'T get together. It is not until the side stories do they do. It's like one of the oddest ways tbh.
I suspected as much. It didn't seem like the ML were capable of maintaining a stable relationship or loving the MC without it turning into an obsession. I don't think the MC could handle being entangled in such a heavy, demanding dynamic. Thanks for Clarification(^-^)

Yes they ended attending the same college. It’s not really a time skip, but the novel doesn’t go into much detail abt how winter break went for the both of them.
