I would say it isn't like that. The romance is a present part of the book, but it's not the only focus. The romantic senses thus far have been pretty non explicit, and the ML doesn't give playboy vibes at all, more like affection starved hot guy. FL is innocent, but she's not clueless about intimacy and ML has been respectful of her so far.
The art is gorgeous and the story is very interesting so far, and the romance scenes aren't smut but still gives butterflies Totally recommend you read it, it's really good so far
