I agree. It seems pretty realistic this way tho. She just needed to cry for the god to give her more power. She is using the same tactic over and over again because thats the only one that she tried and succeeded at. Her new life made her selfish, immature and spoiled.
There’s a certain tragedy in it too because she actually WORKED HARD in her first life. I was so surprised; she recognised her envy, left instead of schemed to build her own life, actually bought her own house then died before she got to enjoy it. So of course she’s just gonna go on cheat mode and enjoy the short-term victories. She feels hard work doesn’t reward her.
Yes, exactly, she now had god on her side so she doesnt even need to try anymore. She is just childish because nothing matters now, the people will kiss her feet regarding of her actions.
Honestly, Liena’s blessing would’ve been far more deadly if the girl just knew how to use it. And I mean actually utilise what it does properly. You know why Edel can undo its effects so well aside from her growing undoing holy powers? It’s because Liena takes the affection she gets for granted and walks all over it. She cares not if they love her for her personality or deeds. They just DO. So she doesn’t go through much of an effort to even FAKE it. Like just now, the Prince was broken free but he could’ve been dragged back under her spell if she had just been a bit more smart. Just give him something to hook into. But she DOESN’T. And with her family, she just cries and waits for them to fawn over her without giving them anything to work with.
There’s no point in an OP tool if you’re gonna suck at using it.
