Halfway through the story and I hate the main characters

Reread chapter 30. Chapter 30 is their very first meeting. Charlie threatened him and implied he wanted to kidnap and harm mc at first sight. Why the hell do you think mc owes him any care? Charlie didn’t warn him out of goodwill, he told him that to imply mc wasn’t special, because he wanted the ML to himself. Charlie is the ML’s victim but he also harmed MC and put MC into prostitution with specific terrible guys that abused him too. You have an odd way of spinning things.

1. Charlie is the way he is only because of the Seme, he’s clearly mentally unstable and shown to be downright s*icidal. Seme kidnapped uke and whether Charlie did it to get him out of the way or ‘goodness of his heart’ doesn’t matter
2. Uke already knows Seme, he’s been told by Seme himself that he’ll be doing prostitution while being with him legitimately the same situation as Charlie. But I guess because he’s ‘special’ that makes a difference
3. Charlie warned Uke before and like an idiot he decided to sign the contract with Seme WILLINGLY putting himself in danger and as a result ended up in the situation he was put in.Even if Charlie wasn’t there after signing that paper and the group was taken over he would have still been put into that position
3. I’m not calling Charlie a saint or a good person but the uke knew what type of person Seme was and both ignored it and actively deluded himself with Seme

Also Uke ISNT special thats a fact, Seme planned to do the exact same thing to Uke as he did to Charlie. He found uke entertaining enough to keep near but still wanted to get him into prostitution

But did you finish the story though? The ending shows that isn’t the case lmfao. The ending shows mc is rich and famous and together with the ML, who literally is smitten with him. At the end of the day, mc was never actually forced to do anything by the ML. He chose to stay. He also liked the money. ML gave him the deal to only be his personally.

Regardless that still doesn’t change anything about how you said it like mc owes it to Charlie to care about him. Charlie was a bad person towards mc even when mc didn’t do shit to him. Yet you said “it doesn’t matter” what Charlie’s reasons were of threatening mc to leave. Just cause charlie is a victim of ML doesn’t give him a free pass to justify everything he does. You’re being hypocritical by not displaying him as a villain who also happily tortured others and only calling mc a villain for not caring about him. The way you talk about Charlie threatening him is like you seem it as a favor. Just cause Charlie is a victim doesn’t mean he can harm others. Being mentally unstable isn’t an excuse.

You can talk about how bad the ML is, since it’s a fact that he’s not a good person. But don’t spin things like mc is a villain and Charlie is just a victim. If you’re gonna talk about a story at least include all the bad things Charlie has done too. Don’t mislead new readers with missing info lol

Also I want to add, do you not realize the similarities? “The Uke knew what type of person Seme was and both ignored it and actively deluded himself” is that not the same thing Charlie did? Despite the glasses guy telling Charlie he can leave any time with the money he already has, Charlie chose to stay because he still wanted the ML. He only resorted to revenge because the ML didn’t pick him.

It’s really odd you’re upset about mc’s choices while Charlie did the same stuff and you only defend him. It’s really hypocritical

The ending could say that the uke turned into a fire breathing dragon but at the end of the day we have the fact that seme
1. Kidnapped uke
2. R*aped him
3. Eventually Coerced him into signing the contract which was what actually got him into trouble

I never said uke owed Charlie anything I onky said that he’s not a good person either for acknowledging what Seme did to Charlie and ignoring it and being actively hostile to someone who’s clearly mentally unstable and 0 threat at the time. Uke was actively trapped and coerced with sex over multiple days so yes despite Charlie’s intentions is WAS a favour.

An Mc who actively indulges in a villain is also a villain. Charlie was mentally broken by this Seme who also CONTINUED to coerce him into continuing prostitution using flowery language and sex despite noticing how frail he became, how many times he tried to off himself, how often he’d become erratic.

I never stated Chalie was innocent, 2 things can be true at once. He was both a victim and also a perpetrator. I the difference between Charlie and Uke was Charlie is a literal mental case broken down over I think they said 4 years. Of course he’s mad Seme didn’t pick him, because he was once uke reeled in and broken over time while being fed just enough scraps of attention to keep him there even though he was actively losing it.

I’m upset at the stupid decisions and weird reasonings from these characters but at the end of the day it’s a story made by a random person. I gave my thoughts, if people decide not to read it I’d personally say it would be a positive doing literally ANYTHING else.

You keep saying the Uke was bad to Charlie, he had TWO conversations with Charlie in the ENTIRE story. Each one Charlie threatened him first and the second time he tried to slap him just cause the Uke said he wasn’t scared of his threat. Wdym by “actively hostile” you’re getting it mixed up with Charlie’s behavior. He NEVER laid a finger or threatened Charlie, he simply talked back and wouldn’t let Charlie walk all over him. Reread chapter 38, you’ll remember Charlie’s nature. Let me refresh what Charlie did. The place was transferred to that old guy who was an enemy of the ML. That old guy asked if he really needed to keep the mc and said he’s not his type. Charlie then INSISTED that mc needed to be kept and pushed mc to be prostituted to the worse guys, using him as their top prostitute. He was the one that convinced the old guy to do that. It’s so irritating that you keep misleading stuff and thinking mc did horrible things to Charlie. The problem is that YOU don’t give Charlie blame enough for the disgusting things he did. He is exactly like the ML, he also doesn’t give a shit if innocent people are forced into prostitution. The problem is you keep portraying Charlie more as a victim and you didn’t mention Charlie’s wrong doings until after I pointed it out.

Obviously the Uke isn’t a green flag but he is not bad towards Charlie than he is to any other person. He simply doesn’t care about anyone except the ML, with your logic of using backstory, dude is an orphan who had to survive off the streets and struggle his whole life, ofc he’s not gonna give a shit about others.

I think you forget that the mc is a fully grown man who can make his own decisions. He’s fully aware of the situation and he wasn’t coerced into anything. ML didn’t even have to threaten him, all he had done was seduce Mc and MC happily agreed to the contract. He also happily went back hand in hand with the ML 2 days after he left. The only actual complaint he had was being locked in a room, which he admitted was satisfying- and the only reason he left was because he was anxious of falling deeper. You keep saying mc was trapped and coerced into sex- he LIKES SEX. He said it himself. It’s like your favorite hobby is to turn anyone into a victim despite the mc blatantly being chill with it. Just cause you aren’t cool with the idea doesn’t mean that’s how the mc felt.

Also can you tell what chapter he was raped by the Seme? Do you mean when he continued after he was sleeping? I guess that’s dubious since mc didn’t care after the fact. I reread the entire thing today, and there was no actual rape that I can remember the Seme did to the Uke. There were rough moments but every time the mc agreed to it first and liked it.

Also let me add that even when the Uke had a chance to get revenge or even hit Charlie for what he did to him at the very end, he did nothing. He chose not to despite hating him for making his life hell. The one who pushed mc to actually get beat up and raped everyday was Charlie. His mental instability isn’t enough to defend him as a victim. He only ever should’ve pointed his hatred towards the ML.

Let not get it twisted that ML was the one that made his life worse. The mc chased after the ml and was perfectly happy with him and enjoyed every single sex with him. ML didn’t force mc to do anything he didn’t want to. The only one ML was lenient towards was MC. Charlie was the one that used his contract to make him serve who knows how many men.

Oh I keep remembering more things to add:
Not just getting beat up and raped, they also starved the mc there too.

And last I remember Charlie was never suicidal. If that was the case he would’ve kept attempting even after they were gone from his life. Maybe you forgot but in the chapter after mc and ml were having sex, he threw stuff around the room and was speaking with the glasses guy. He says “usually he would come when I would hurt myself.” So he blatantly admits he uses self harm as a manipulation tactic to get the ML’s attention. Hell he did it for the plan to stab ML too. He always wrecked the room to get the ML to come to him.

The story is trash, I’m not reading allat. Sincerely user
