while i do agree with her, she was a literal awful person and commited horrible crimes, harming others. if the prince was on her side in this situation, it wouldn't make any sense. there's nothing to forgive as the only thing he truly did was act as a royal and enact justice

I'm not trying to justify her actions
But from her perspective, I guess the nobles didn't make it a hard choice by constantly bullying her for something she can't control
But making her get back with the prince is insane
Just let her move on
Sometimes romance is not by force
She was constantly feeling like she had to fight for her place in nobility, and met her end for it
This time, why not just let her move on and try something new, explore the land, must she go through the selection again like...
And you know she's gonna get married to him because she's now "kind and different from the other girls and holds her head high despite her being magicless"
And she shouldn't have to get back with the guy who sentenced her to death, you know.
Technically, he's not a prick, but surely another punishment is in order, considering she IS magicless

i completely agree, while the prince has nothing to apologize for. it's more the world that has to apologize to her. and i would be extremely happy if she moved on and had a happy and slow life in the countryside with her family instead of becoming the prince's fiancee
