Just because it’s not a literary masterpiece doesn’t mean it’s bad. It’s not hurting anyone or romanticizing anything. It’s fucked up and it was obvious it was fucked up from the beginning lol, noones forcing u to read it. You being here despite not liking it and deciding just to shame readers who aren’t doing anything to hurt anyone just makes u the weird one. If you don’t like weird fucked up media like this just don’t interact with it?
but it is romanticizing rp3??? it gives graphic detail on how the mc is living and being treated, constantly being rp3d. I'm not saying people are forcing me to read it, nor am I saying u cant, but I have the right to call people weird for finding the behavior being discussed cute. I'm mature enough to realize that its ok to consume fucked up media, but you shouldn't be cooing and baby talking a man who's being depicted as beat, rp3d, and emotionally manipulated.
Just as long as they’d never do that to a real victim. It’s fine. Like I can agree it’s a little weird but it’s all just because it’s a fictional character and they’re just indulging in their fucked up fantasies. As long as they never apply that to real life and are doing it JUST because they know it’s a fictional character it’s fine. I get great enjoyment from this media and love to see him cry, because it’s not real, I’d be sickened if it was a real life person. As much as this is a fucked up story depicting horrible things for readers to be disgusted about, it’s also an outlet for people who LOVE disgusting things like this to enjoy it. The ONLY time that media like this or the readers is actually problematic is when it’s applied to real life victims, or acting like it’s not a bad thing. The original comment may be enjoying it but it’s not because we’re pretending like the MC isn’t suffering, we like it because he’s suffering. Which is weird, I understand, but doesn’t harm anyone to indulge in.
While its fine to consume media with concerning topics, the original comment is clearly romanticizing this treatment. You can advocate for morals, but when I commented that it was clearly a little weird, the fact that everyone in this thread immediately got on the defensive, and said that "nobody is forcing me to read it" or "your weird too" shows a lot about their character, and how they view this manhwa. They aren't viewing it in a "wow this is fucked up but its intriguing" way, but in a "wow this is fucked up I love it" way. When people have these ideals and romantic views of this behavior it becomes difficult to separate it from real life: everyone who commits horrible acts like murder have to IMAGINE and PLAN these things out: by consuming this media and normalizing it, then getting defensive when people say its a little odd to support or "coo" even a fictional character in a bad situation in a non sympathetic/empathetic way at all is.. concerning to say the least. Im glad you can at least acknowledge the oddity of the content being displayed, but I do hope you can eventually understand how, when left unaddressed, these innermost desires and the numbing to such odd and horrific treatment can be reflected in peoples actions and behaviors. Have a wonderful evening, afternoon, morning,or night.
you don't know me personally to be making these assumptions about me bro, I can differenciate fiction from real life and while I like fucked up media for the thrill of it, I don't get urges to go recreate what I saw or read in fiction in real life. I am an adult who knows what's right and wrong. Y'all are way too comfortable making comments about someone's personal life here which is very odd.

jiwook is so cute when he's all beat up and pathetic
