Don’t drop it! It actually does get to that and addresses it as well! I promise they do have a father daughter relationship!!!!
I agree with the previous comment. It takes a while but he does think of her as his daughter and their relationship progresses and misunderstandings are slowly cleared.
"I'm A Stepmother, But My Daughter Is Just Too Cute!" is the title but why are we circling around romance? I get it, romance sells, it gets you good views and shi but at least make the ML a good father I get that Abigail is supposed to be the main character but the whole story doesn't have to revolve around her and the husband because Blanche exists. She's not supposed to be a bridge for their broken marriage, she's supposed to be THEIR daughter, not Abigail's stepdaughter, not the ML's daughter than he uses just to get brownie points from his wife.
