I get your confusion. Sub-dom dynamic doesn’t necessarily include pain (biting, spanking, ect.) it’s about the dom being in control and the sub feeling safe ( for example the dom commands the sub to act like a dog and the sub feels SAFE enough to do it) that’s why a sub will experience a sub-drop if a dom we’re to force a command or play on them. Although like the previous reply says there are plenty of people who like pain ( masochists) but keep in mind that even a dom can be a masochist and a sub can be a sadist.
