Spoilerrsss!!
Our Mc is Noah white, he at first is a ghost stuck at a grave which our second Mc (Dylan) visits every week. Noah is curious about his previous life and who Dylan is to him so he takes the body of smb that has died recently (Scott).
Scott is a gay man, in a relationship and he is also therapist (not what they call him but its his job). While going to work he finds out that Dylan is one of his patience and he decides to use him to his advantage to figure out about his past since its clear Dylan has something to do with it.
Dylan doesn't trust him at first since he reminds him alot of Noah but ends up telling him that he's having hallucinations of Noah as well as auditory hallucinations of a song he never heard b4.
We get a couple of flashbacks and figure out that Dylan had a crush on Noah b4 and while trying to give his phone back, he sees him drugging a guy, which then gets him drugged and kidnapped.
We then find out that Noah is a murderer and does so for a cure to cancer but it's more accurate to say he does it to take his anger out on them (The victims aren't good people). He says he won't kill Dylan and will just keep him locked up forever.
At first Dylan of course hates him and tells him he doesn't want to see him but eventually becomes dependent on him since he's the only person he ever sees. But the more dependent he gets the more upset he gets that he's not "Special" to Noah.
Back in the present we find out that the sister keeps insisting on Dylan going to therapy because she really wants to know what happened to her fiancee, who she had asked to help find Dylan since he was a police.
Blah blah blah some things happen and we find out that while trying to save Dylan from Noah, Alex (the fiancee) ends up dying since Dylan pushed him off the stairs (He could've saved him but didn't). Then Noah tells him to go and that they'll meet again but commits suicide instead after cleaning up Alex's body.
In the present now after they both remember the full story, they are in a relationship (?) Because Dylan claims he can't live without.
Noah one days decides to bring flowers to his own grave but when he gets there he sees his father (He was abusive). He gets angry and ends up killing him on his grave. Dylan helps him cover up the crime and when they get home they have a conversation.
Dylan says he knew he that Noah wouldn't change but since he wouldn't he would. Noah then blacks out and when he wakes up, he's locked up like how he had Dylan in the past.
That's the ending.
I skipped alot of things but nothing that's essential to the overall plot.
