Yeah, I agree with you. This is more like a villains, and dark love story type. Both mc and ml is crazy and ml is more of a bad guy who ruined ppl live by tricking them. And if Charlie wanted revenge, he should have only go after ml bc mc have nth to do with it, which is kind of dumb, but pity him, he should have listen to Kim and stop obsessing over ml.
Also, like u said, mc is strong mind with make him very cool. The story is good, if ppl want to read some dark stories.
Notice how it’s people who didn’t even finish the story who keep leaving complaints here lmao. They’re mad cause the mc isn’t like how they want him to be. They expect some kind hearted angel or some character development into a hero-type mc.
Mind you the TITLE is DOWN AND DIRTY. It implies it isn’t light hearted. Of course the MC and ML aren’t green flags, this author doesn’t even write any green flags in majority of their stories. This unfortunately reached the wrong audience and that’s why we get negative comments here.
My problem is those who defend Charlie didn’t get past halfway through the story or didn’t use their brains. When MC first met Charlie, Charlie literally said he wanted to kidnap him and implied he wanted to hurt him. Threatening him as well. WTF do you mean yall want MC to be caring towards his situation?? And the later part of the story Charlie is responsible for setting up MC so he has to prostitute himself to the worst abusive customers. Charlie isn’t just a victim, he’s a perpetrator towards MC who never did a single thing to him. Anyways I love the mc. He’s confident and strong-minded. He doesn’t care what anyone’s says and goes for what he wants. He doesn’t give a shit what anyone has to say, that includes the ML. That behavior of his literally got him everything he wanted.
This story isn’t for readers who like sunshine and rainbow fluff stories. This is for the tolerant readers who can read dark or morally grey stories. This is TAME to the many mainstream dark stories on the front page of this site.
