Same. When I saw this chapter in my notifications along with all my other series that update I was like, may as well reason this first so that my reading starts with disappointment instead of ending with. I thought that nostalgia was clouding my judgement but I finished rereading a couple weeks ago and the older chapters aren't perfect and there is plenty that has really not aged well but they are still leagues ahead of these most recent chapters.

Interesting take considering that the romance is for sure a side plot, and the revenge is almost side plot. The point of the story is Kyoko's growth as a person and actress. The revenge is more a catalyst for that. I do understand your frustration, though.
Yeah Kyokos growth but we literally had to witness the growth of every other side character too. She doesnt even show up in many of the recent chapters, its like she became irrelevant in her own story. Also her own growth is taking way too long, it feels like reading the shojo Version of one piece
Im sorry but i dont care about all the other side plots and other characters, I started this 10 years ago for the revenge and romance plot, i dont understand what is going on anymore and i dont want to understand bc its boring. The Anime is great its in my top ten BUT the manga…its getting to the point where im completely loosing interest
