I understand why everyone is so pissed about the ending about doha i was too when i first read it but reading this again made me realize that all he wanted was belonging. He wanted someone to be his side not romantic love but the genuine love that gives him a place in someone's life. He was taken from his loving mother in childhood and now he's taking care of a child that is kind of his too in a sense (whatever that divine power did) now he has someone as his family...
Yes i do agree he should have had his share of romantic love too he's too fine just to live like a godfather only. But i think he'll be fine.
